The reason he hit the golden buzzer was because he tried it out and realized how hard it was to actually play one correctly + adding to the fact that the contestant made the voice sound vibrato was very impressive. Well done !! i am getting an otomatone soon :D

No. It only highlights the talent of the sound technician behind the mixing board in the sound room away from the camera. No otamatone sounds like that unaided. There is some heavy post FX processing going on there.

Basically any instrument can have that emotional depth. You just need a good player to bring it out. Try and play an otamatome sometime. It's definitely not easy to get that sound lol. Fun to play around with though

I would love to see him take mine, and make it sound like that. I'm nowhere near even decent with it, but no amount of skill is gonna make my Otamatone sound that close to a human voice. It's more like the sound when you pinch the end of a balloon and stretch it letting air out.

If this git a gold buzzard then they have low standards in Spain and are desperate... if you wanna see this instrument played properly look up “the dooo” on KZbin... he can play the onholy hell out of this exact same instrument and make what this guy did look like child’s play as well as play tf out of the guitar and piano and outside of all that he has “relative pitch” and knows music theory which allows him to hear any song and be able to play it

@@alicianisha35I'm a Spanish speaker, maybe I could help giving a summary. The judges are saying that it looks easy but actually it's not, Edurne (the girl) said the otamatone was cute. Risto (the one with the glasses) said he thought he had seen everything. The others were trying to convince him into giving playing the otamatone a try and the crowd started cheering the guy by screaming "Golden Buzzer". After Risto tried playing it and noticed how hard it was to do so, he pressed the golden buzzer.
