This morning I am remembering the first Tabi Eats video I ever watched. It was many years ago and the subject was delivery pizza. I didn't know that the two of you were a couple; I thought Satosi was a neighbor. He was hesitant to speak English in those days and I am impressed by how fluent in English he has become. I look forward to many more years of Tabi Eats videos!

So convenient and reasonably priced! It's amazing that the fish isn't terribly overcooked and the noodles aren't mushy. The fact that a few of the dishes are good and the rest are a bit above average gets a thumbs up from me. In the US, vending machines are mostly filled with unhealthy snacks. Thanks for this video, guys! 💜💜 Korma, btw, is a Mughal dish from India which usually includes a braised protein and vegetables in a yogurt-based sauce with various spices. It often incorporates ground almonds or cashews or, in Andhra style, coconut/coconut milk.

Some of these meals are also sold in frozen form in the local supermarkets in Singapore. Might be a bit more pricey compared to what is available in local hawker centers and coffee shops but good if you are too lazy to cook or order food.

There are 2 types of kurma. The Indian version is Chicken Korma which I believe you tried as you mentioned yoghurt as part of the ingredients. There is also a Malay version of Chicken Kurma that has coconut milk and slightly different spices.

I’m sitting here telling my screen to, “stir the hot rice into the cold curry….then it will all be the perfect temp”. 😂😂 I know that you probably don’t eat it like that when you have it at a restaurant or at home, but that’s how a frozen curry is meant to be eaten as some of the curry always remains a bit slushy and the rice gets hot like the sun. If you make a microwave curry at home you typically stir the curry half way through cooking …but you can’t do that with the vending machine meals…so you’re meant to stir it together when before you eat it. ✌🏻🥰😊

This is fun to see. We don't have such vending machines, we don't have much vending machines at all. If we want a meal like this we buy it cold in the supermarket and heat it up at home.

Tomato concasse (or rather "concassé de tomate" or "tomates concassées" - pronounced con-cah-sseh) is basically crushed tomato. More technically it's canned tomatoes that were peeled, de-seeded and well chopped up beforehand... so your taste comparison wasn't too far off. 😆

I think I’d prefer a place that had microwaves and you can cook your own frozen dinners to be able to stir items halfway through to cook more evenly.

Wow im suprise you're eating our Singapore Malay food .... yess it is delicious. Bagus means Good, Nasi is Rice Kurma is actually Dates in Malay. Nasi Kurma is some sort of Malay version curry ( No Dates were in the dish ) I know it doesnt make sense but is still good actually... Eat our Singapore actual food at local hawkers ^-^ you both will love it....

@davidyip64187 ай бұрын
You are so wrong!!! The standard vending machines for Kodama Shinkansen are located onboard. The 700 Series Shinkansen. Standard vending machines on the Kodama Shinkansen sell non-alcoholic beverages like soft drinks, juice, energy drinks, tea, and coffee for 100-200 yen.

Why does it always feel like Satoshi is playing second fiddle?
@ZnakerFIN11 ай бұрын
I would say, based on previous videos, that Satoshi is either not as into the video making side as Shinichi is or is lacking in experience. I recall that at least at some point Shinichi had offered on TabiEats or Shinichi's World, on camera, to edit Satoshi's videos to get Satoshi making content for his own channel again.

These so called gourmet vending machine are gimmicky. I remember 3am hungry from partying on NY eve, went to use these machine... 'Gourmet' Singapore Beehoon, with an Indian Chef face and name. Verdict? Dry salty, no ingredients I could have made better with eyes closed

I feel like Shinichi is a narcissist. Satoshi is just a guy in Shinchi's videos.
