You are so amazing. But can i ask what paste are you using? cause i noticed that it doesn't stick. Can you please also share us how to make that paste. Is it also edible? Thanks in advance for reply
@GourmetGateaux4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Philip!😊 I do have a video for the gumpaste which I think you may have already seen. If you paste is a little sticky, add a bit of corn flour to it with a brush or leave it to air dry for a few minutes. Yes it is edible😊.

Beautiful, thank you for the tutorial.. Do you use anything to stop your petals sticking (like white fat or cornflour) when you're stretching them with the end of the rolling pin.? Thank you again ❤️
@GourmetGateaux4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Elis!💞 I don't. If they are sticky, just leave them to air dry for a couple of minutes until you're able to start thinning them. Alternatively you may use Corn Flour.😊

What side foam bud do you use please xx
@GourmetGateaux3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah, I've used the same size bud as my very first video (the purple one). I can't remember from the top of my head but if you take a look at that video, the measurements are there.😊

Hello beautiful lady, i have a small question: Why does my petal takes so long to dry? Should i roll it very thin?
@GourmetGateaux4 жыл бұрын
Hello! There are several reasons why it would take longer for for petals to dry. A humid environment. If it's too humid it will take a lot longer for petals to dry. Another is, there's too much Trex/shortening in the paste. Try mixing a little cornflour into the gumpaste and then roll your petals thin. What you don't want to do is have thick bulky petals but you want to have that delicate flower. I hope that helps.😊👍

This is a good tutorial but it would be even better if the camera was moved closer to your work so there is a better view of what you’re doing...🙂 and that might also make it easier for your hands to stay inside the frame...

Hi Clairressa, Thank you for liking the tutorial. As this is another one of my styles, most of the viewers already have an idea of how it's being made as they've seen my original one (with close ups). If you haven't watched that one, then please take a look. It'll give you a better idea😊. Link is below kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXTbfmWLhrKSpKc
