Our oven died right before Thanksgiving. We got this at Costco, cooked our turkey, dehydrated dozens of persimmons, and now are doing all our Christmas baking in it. We love it and still haven't needed to replace our range yet.

I bought the smaller version of this (looks exactly the same, only smaller and with 3 rack levels) from WalMart for $50 to replace my old convection toaster oven. I have limited space in my small apartment kitchen and I don't have room for a basket style fryer. So far I love this oven. It is so much better, faster & bigger than my old convection toaster oven. I also have stains on my pan but I'm going to live with them.

Like you have said before there is no perfect cooker, so look for one that does what you need it to do. This oven has the size and functions I need. Great review.

Great review - very thorough and sufficiently detailed to help one make a purchase decision. We have a small Cuisinart air fryer combo unit that works really well, but it's too small for many things we want to cook. So, we bought the Gourmia XL at Costco yesterday and before I try it out I wanted to read some reviews. I understand the top of the Gourmia gets very hot, which isn't the case with the Cuisinart, so I worry a little about having this below cabinets that hold food (spices, flour, etc.). I read where it is dishwasher safe (which you don't use) and that is an advantage over the Cuisinart - washing the air fryer basket by hand is a pain. Thanks again your thoughts on this!

We just bought the newer model at Costco that includes the temp probe. This is our first air fryer/ oven and expect a real learning curve. One question though, can this cook a turkey breast in the way of four pounds or so? Also it does not seem like the pause function is on the new one.

The food probe instructions are pretty bad. Am I supposed to leave the magnet on the side of the oven? Do I leave the food probe in the meat while it cooks? The instructions seem to say so It’s cool that it has one but the instructions are epically bad

It's too bad they don't provide the dimensions. I won't buy an appliance from a vendor that doesn't provide dimensions. If they're not competent enough to provide dimensions, you can bet that their not competent enough to provide quality engineering.
