His lean frame and elegant strides makes it imperative to compare the super fast cheetah with those very muscular cats like the lion, tiger, jaguar, leopard, cougar. Absolutely mindboggling that at agr 14 he clocked the 100m at 10.57 secs.

I met a very humble man 24 years ago who clocked 10:45 at age 15 here in Australia. I said, that's insane - on target for Olympic qualification in some short years. He dismissed my comment politely and simply stated, it was an illegal head wind. He went on to martial arts.

Gout will get better as he grows and developes , barring injuries, he should be able to break Bolts records. there is no point getting excited over his age. the speed doesn't necessarily increase in linear fashion with age. The guy might have developed earlier than most and might have already hit his peak. Yep some people just develop very early and god knows at 16 or 17 years old he has a ton of energy. 20.04 isn't anywhere near running 19.19 or 19.26 or 19.30, however running 20.04 does make him very competitive in a lot of races right now.

Why would Noah Lyles be a good choice to mentor this young lad, when Gout will be his most difficult competitor to run against. It doesn’t make sense to me. Why trust Lyles? Gout doesn’t need Lyles. If Usain Bolt himself reached out to mentor him, that would be different, because Bolt is no longer a competitor.
