Cuomo doesn't show extraordinary compassion or intelligence (in this regard) - it's just the thing you want to do in a situation like this. Stay out of any unneccessary trouble, as you have enough to do with the probems at hand. Any competent leader should act like this. I don't say that he isn't compassionate and empathic - but in my opinion not to an extraordinary degree. He's just a good leader doing his job pretty well in a terrible situation. As a matter of principle - we should be entitled to this kind of behavior from all our politicians. We've just gotten to used to incompetent politicians doing a terrible job, that even the expected standard feels like astonishing stellar work - when it just is how it should be.

Trump lost the vote by a landslide (~3 million votes). He actually won by electoral college votes. Every state is assigned a number of votes/points, some states get more points than others. Joe public then votes for who they want these points to count toward. Once you have more than 1/2 of the electoral college points you have won the race.

He literally cancelled an election to hurt down ballot progressives in New York and almost set a precedent that would allow republican governors to do the same and further erode our democracy. New York also has the second lowest voter turnout of any state due to absolutely cryptic and confusing primary deadlines, and his police force is responsible for violent attacks in poor communities which has been justified by his mask requirement. Instead of handing the poor masks so they don't get sick, he punched them in the face while hanging up hundreds of donated masks on some self portrait of America. He's better than Trump, but he has still been a complete dumb ass when it comes to public health. For the past decade there have been TONS of hospital closures in New York as they cut spending on popular public health institutions and consolidated funding towards private hospitals and has said for years that New York had "too many hospital beds" and that this was not cost effective. after watching and listening to Governor Cuomo, I see why he scares the pants right off of Trump. Trump should be worried. As one comment or on a Psychic video stated: " This man has a real pair and knows how and when to make them swing"........ I'm 72 and a Democrat. I'll never forget that statement she made.
