I hear ya... But as for me (I'm in my 40s), I'm not going to be cashing in on that money for another 2 decades. But during the Biden administration - not that they control the markets, they definitely don't - I've seen only growth and flatline. No drops. When Trump was in office - just saying - I watched 20-30k of money fall out of it. It took about a year before I saw that money return. Wouldn't it be nice if 401k's didn't wax and wane? Yes it would be.

Rep. Cori Bush said it in an interview after George Floyd. A few other Dems and Cori Bush supporters started repeating it. The Republican party and right wing media jumped right on that. It was not the policy stance of the Democratic party, but Trump and Republicans started the mantra that the "Democrats want to defund the police". And they turned that on the democrats and campaigned on it. I think Cori Bush learned a hard lesson as a new Congress member: be responsible and think before you say something that will reflect on the entire Democrat party.

I grew up in one of the largest cities in the country and have never been hassled on the street other than by panhandlers just peacefully asking for money, which is at worst, a minor neusance. American cities are very safe places.

Love our Governor Josh. I'm glad to hear that he is a dog person. One thing that I wish he would address is the Amish and their treatment of animals. The puppy mills and the treatment of farm horses is disgusting. I realize it is a tricky thing because you have the whole religious aspect of it, but they should have to follow the same animal cruelty laws that the rest of us follow. Moreso than Kensington, it really is Pennsylvania's shame. There has to be something that can be done about this.
