Gov. Kristi Noem defends including story about killing her dog in book

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem tells "Face the Nation" that her forthcoming book has been "edited" after her claim about meeting Kim Jong Un turned out to be false. She also said that she shared a story about killing her 14-month-old dog Cricket because "I want the truth to be out there."

While simultaneously refusing to confirm or deny the implied claim it first introduced, which was "she met Kim". It's a book she wrote about her experiences, and she recorded the audio book. She thought it was going to help her be a VP pick. Either she wrote the book and it's truthful about her experiences, or it's written to be something else. The comment is saying that it doesn't make sense that this is her book by her, about her, it's probably for something else.
