Do your own research, this flag has nothing to do with Somalia. The old flag was a horrible design, this is simply a new design that uses elements of Minnesota instead of having an unrecognizable picture of Indian displacement and the word Minnesota on it.

Walz had a whole commission dedicated to redesigning the flag. To say that it was problematic enough to warrant that effort to change it, i.e., it "had" to be done, and in the same breath cajole Republicans for trying to put it to a statewide vote, "how dare you notice"-style... go ahead, Walz supporters, do explain how that is not duplicitous.
