Quick tips from a longtime user: 1. You don't need to use the orange markers, you can open up your TVs internal YT player and find the govee calibration video a user posted that places red squares. That way no sticky risk! 2. You can use an ND filter over top the camera to cut the light and provide more accurate colours in blown out/bright scenes/certain rooms. The camera let's in way too much light. 3. When calibrating don't pull right to the edge of TV, bring them in just a little bit.
@FROSTIXA2 жыл бұрын
And for most accurate colour 0 saturation is def the way to go! Although some users like up to 40ish. I use 0 sat with 100 brightness with it :)

Love mine, got mine 70mm from inside of the edges of the TV, having it to close to the edge will get dead spots in the corners, so not even, your is a little closer to the edge than mine. Have read 2 to 3" from the edge of the screen is ideal, but does not really matter, think nearer the edge would be brighter I guess. But works well. I have read an adjustable clip on nd filter colours are even better. The only issue I had, was the colour calibration squares were just in the view, and just visible. If I may criticize; you tend to skip over the installation process in many of your videos. Was it easy to install? Were you concerned about screen damage when sticking the calibration stickers to the front? Was it easy to avoid screen smudge when removing them? Are the lights easy to remove if you change your mind including the sticky stuff that holds them in place?
@TheTechGiantYouTube2 жыл бұрын
I didn't bother showing the installation as too many keep complaining that the videos take too long and that I should just get to the point,so I did. They are easy enough to fit as it is just tape on the back. So peel the backing off and stick down. The foam pads,you just stick them on lightly,they then come off easily and leave no marks. So just don't push them down hard. Not removed the lights,as had no reason to,but I can't see why they'd be hard to remove.
