They are taught that while other translations have their uses, the only one that can be fully trusted is their translation. Any conflicts between the two are resolved by trusting their translation. After all, introducing other translations also opens up the potential to find apocryphal books and other things they consider satanic in origin

I know a PIMI JW that uses multiple translations regularly in her home for research. A very intelligent lady....but I guess she just thinks all the other translations are wrong? I can't understand it. 🤷‍♀️

Here are some important facts that most people don’t know about. The Corporation, aka the organization of the JW created their first custom made new world translation “bible” in 1950, which contained the NT. The KJV that they were using before then was giving them a lot of problems, which is why they needed cease all use of the KJV, and to create their very own custom made “bible,” which had drastic changed all in which were done to support their key doctrines. Over the years they came up with the many Newer Revised Editions, one of which was the first complete nwt that contained the OT and NT in 1961. Since then newer revised editions have came out. Here are the rest of their New Revised Editions in order: 1970, 1971, 1981, 1984, 2013… all of which contained more and more changes like verses removed, words removed, words changed, new words added, commas and periods moved around, verses restructured, parts of chapters removed, etc.

Hello. Thank you for your comments. Did you know that verse you mentioned is considered spurious? For example in the Sinaitica codex , one of the oldest biblical manuscripts to exist. That verse is not found. It is thought to have been added at a later time. If you read the whole of that chapter without that text it flows and makes more sense

Also what battle was Jesus and the heavenly armies in when the Antichrist and the goats were removed? Also did you know that some parts of Revelation are not chronological? There are parts of Revelation that are in chronological order. Chapters 1-5, as well as the last four chapters (19-22) are in chronological order. But the middle chapters, 6-18, are not. The middle chapters have six separate themes, each with their own timeline

Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "Jesus Christ the 'The Faithful Witness.'" When on earth as a man he was a Jew an Israelite to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "'You are my witnesses 'is the utterance of Jehovah 'even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Tell me, how can you compare Jehovah/Yahweh as Jesus's Father? They are NOTHING alike. Jehovah/Yahewh is a cruel, hostile, short tempered, merciless, evil, angry and vile God who delights in murderering literally 100's of thousands of innocent men, women, children and babies. He is the devil whom Jesus alluded to when he rebuked the Hebrews/Israelites/Jews for worshipping their father and God the devil in John 8:44. Yahweh was not Jesus's God, but claimed Jesus as his own firstborn son and watched him die an excruciatingly painful death by crucifixion. Such a loving God isn't he. How would you feel if you were in Jesus's place being the one sacrificed? Bet you wouldn't think Jehovah/Yahewh was an all loving God then would you?

However, YHWH is not a concoction as the name is mentioned many times over in the OT. It really is a name that cannot be uttered. Jews pronounce the name as Yahweh, but they too don’t know what the correct pronunciation is.
