Government censorship in ‘clear violation’ of the First Amendment

On the face of it perhaps it might seem so but current reality suggests otherwise. One of the deadliest causes of early death amongst young indigenous people is rheumatic heart disease. It has been almost eradicated amongst the white population but remains a big problem in the indigenous population living all along the top end of Australia. It is especially acute in the Cape York area in Queensland. The local LNP MP sitting in the House of Representatives is Warren Entsch and he has had a long established career over the course of 27 years. A check of hansard reveals that he has never raised this festering problem even once in his career or sought to facilitate a search for a better solution to it. Under the the Voice proposal, where indigenous people can raise matters that most effect them and their families, local representatives could directly lobby and advise or make suggestions to the Federal Health Minister and the Government Department for the necessary funds, resources or strategies to produce a better, more effective response to combat rheumatic heart disease than presently. This is just one area where the Voice could have the potential to make a difference for the better and help save young indigenous lives. Improved communication could be crucial in creating a better and more cost effective future for all of us. 🤔🤗

Wondering, because it was made illegal here in OZ to advertise prescription medicines, is there a way to stop corporations doing political advertising ? They would all say freedom of speech blah blah but perhaps we could all be allowed to make political decisions like referendums entirely by ourselves without corporate brainwashing. That its bad for our decision making is acknowledged when we have the 2 day ban on advertising before an election. So we could extend the 2 day ban period to 3 months or 6 months. Or make it permanent.

Full Uluru statement refers to treaties, land reform and compensation as percentage of GDP, amongst other things. Tax payers will be paying reparations for generations to come, simply because we were born here. What was done to the Aboriginals was terrible, but that was generations ago and no amount of money and land can change that. We need to move forward a new treaty is a step backward, no need to change constitution to do right by the Aboriginals. There is plenty of land for all Australians to share and throwing money at them will not fix anything, we've tried that and it does not work. We need to listen to people like Jacinta Price who is an Aboriginal and a Politician that understands the situation a lot better than 99% of these brain washed "yes" campaigners who think they are doing good, when they are actually making things worse! The full Uluru statement is a one page document. no i dont believe in religion and that is probably one of the most dangerous sounding scriptures to preach as it sounds like it is saying you can do whatever you want in this life with no consequences because this life doesnt matter and still enjoy a blissful perfect afterlife as long as you believe in god. dont go around telling people who are on the fence about murdering people or committing other crimes that kind of scripture lol. telling people that they can do whatever they want because this life is meaningless in comparison to an infinite afterlife is dangerous and harmful to society. also you should never be taught that the most important things in life (like gods forgiveness) are just handed to you from birth because of something somebody else did (jesus dying) or given to you so easily (by prayer) you should be taught to work for the things you want (like how money works in a society from working a job) it builds a good character. a fabulous shimmer, a glow in your heart, im glitter lucky.
