Incidentally, the reason there is a zip code (47579) for Santa Claus is that there is a town by that name in southern Indiana, near Evansville.

Interesting that at 45 seconds, you can see Jenna Hayes lean over to start writing her question; but in the very next shot (as the thinking music ends), she is already standing upright. I wonder why the cut was done.

Jenna with $18,200 had an important wagering decision here. She could either play against Laura with $5200 or Harry with $13,200. She chose Harry, however her wager was a little off; she only had to wager $8201 to beat him if they both got it right, but she wagered $9000. However it would not have mattered since Laura got it right and ended with $10,200. But if Jenna had wagered $7999 she would have won. By the way all 3 answered were good guesses, but like Laura I got it right!

Saw the champion in 3rd place and was like, yeah, she's not winning. And the answer was also easy, but then the other two didn't know and then it all came down to the leads wager. 🙃 I was shocked Laura won in the end. It was an exciting final, that's for sure. 😃

They've (the park service) always made a big stink about his name being "Smokey Bear", not "Smokey The Bear". They even ran an ad campaign many years ago about his name. I'm honestly surprised they accepted the answer with "The" in the name given how anal they can be with answers.

1:13 The overbet here cost him the win -- a $0 - 2799 bet could have given him the championship. And the leader only had to bet to cover the 2nd place player, but she overbet also, not that it would have mattered. Considering that this Final was a gimme, this was so disappointing to see the other two misanswer *and* miswager this one.
