Governor Abiodun Inaugurates Lagos Abeokuta Expressway

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, yesterday, flagged off the reconstruction of the 70-kilometre Abeokuta-Ifo-Ota-Lagos Expressway with a pledge to complete it in 18 months.

The ministry of works has a new system that allows states to reconstruct federal roads.The state can then build toll gates and other services along the road to recoup their fund.l honestly think for state government to work in Nigeria,federal allocation to state should be tied development.Every state must own and operate at least 5000 hectatres of farm,roads must be developed,healthcare,tap water,education,electricity,salaries should be a requirement to get allocation.Any state that failed to meet these requirement federal government should use their allocation to do these things in the state.This is the only way Nigeria can be better,state governors can start working.
