If you lived in CA, you would not be so hot on Gavin. I have lived in CA since 1960 and watched the democrats systematically tear this lovely state into pieces. Gavin is by far the worse. We have a rich and poor state here. Gavin was raised a rich kid with ties to rich, powerful people. Gavin has many social systems that he has put in place that have all failed. He passed a bill where you can steal up to $950. per store and not be arrested. Many of our businesses have gone out of business and have moved or lost their businesses. Gavin spent a billion dollars on the train to nowhere. Gavin shut down our state, schools, etc. While Gavin's kids went to private school. Gavin is a big rich hypocrite that big billionaires love. So, the homeless has increased and continues to increase and Gavin budgets billions yearly and nothing ever changes. Gavin in his social system allows a stipend to the druggies every day, so they get the money to buy their drugs as well as a drug kit free every day, with no requirement to attend rehab. Now Gavin wants to give the CA blacks reparation as well as other social assistance. If you are a middle class white person, you pay and receive nothing. Crime is skyrocketing and they will not prosecute the minority criminal. Gavin is a WOKE culture governor. He is afraid of DeSantis because DeSantis is against crime, against drugs, against anyone (no matter of color) who breaks the laws. Gavin is supporting CRT & gender sex grooming starting in kindergarten. So, we would love to get rid of him in CA so let him be president so everyone else in the U.S. can suffer. DeSantis is old fashioned and supports the U.S. Constitution and the safety of the people in Florida. That is not the issue with Gavin. The rich Gavin lives his rich, protected life, so hope the idiots vote for him so we can get him out of California.

Gavin Newsome making the red state tour is a great idea. Living in Seattle I have been really proud of the partnership between the Washington, Oregon and California Governor’s. Newsome is definitely the highest profile governor of the three states followed by Governor Inslee. I think Governor Inslee needs to be out there using his strengths with his background Environment / Climate Change to be making arguments for the future. His 3rd term will be up before we know it. He’s an important voice in our party.

I've never forgotten the bookish, earnest young woman who came to my door over 20 years ago to introduce herself. She was running for office for the first time and it was to represent my district so she was going door to door to meet and ask for the votes of her would-be constituents. It was the very first--and last time, actually--I've ever had a candidate come to my door. She lost the race (I did vote for her) but over the years I'd see her name pop up in local politics; despite that first loss, it was awesome that she'd continued running for different offices and successfully winning. Still, I never could have imagined that Tina Kotek would rise so high as to become our governor! Interestingly, a co-worker who lived in the same district I did at the time also still remembers being impressed by this young woman who had also stopped by their home to ask for their vote and had a lengthy conversation with her and her husband.

My sister lives in Tennessee and she wants to home teach her 8 year old son after the Nashville school shooting but she can't. She works at home but her job has her working just hard as she did in her office. That doesn't give her the time to teach him. She literally has anxiety attacks now when she takes him to school. I forgot to mention that I'm a Canadian resident, I was born here and lived here until my mid 20's and then I moved to the U.S.A. I lived and worked there for about 12 or 13yrs. I absolutely loved it there, I was hoping to keep working and retire in N.C. This was the first time that I really felt at home. But I injured myself and when I was operated on, the surgeon cut through My Sciatic Nerve and when my insurance ran out I had to move back to Canada in my home town. Since moving back in 2006 I was unable to work again, I actually have a care worker that takes care of me every day. But I still consider N.C. my home. I believe that Gov. Newsom is exactly the right person that the U.S. Really needs.

I am from Missouri and WISH we had a Governor like Newsome! He has so much energy and enthusiasm and understands the two-way conversations that have to be had. There is a conscious trait among humans that make us what we should be and by extension do well by each other. This is a given trait among us. The truth is much starker than this. The goodness in our hearts is blackened by a society that permits sociopaths to control our world. How do they control our world without being found? We could have progressed to a higher level of thought and social/economic/political level without them but we didn't and now we wonder why? A sociopath is a chameleon even within the family and social structure. Love is a game. Trust is a manipulation. Harmony becomes that which the sociopath uses to adhere themselves to a similar population and extend their reach to true humanity. It is our innate goodness and willingness to do well and be loved that is used against us. A sociopath knows the words, but is unable to hum the tune. Human traits are complex. Our professions have been inundated with sociopaths to such a degree that we have scientists disclaiming “climate change”, doctors prescribing drugs that kill, and lawyers/judges defending racism. Our society has been truly embedded with that which will destroy us and we stand in awe of this because no amount of common sense or logic can produce its opposite. This is the WONDER of our age and this will be that which will either save the race or extinguish it...
