The way he completely gets lost in the moment and let's the music take over makes it seem like his body is simply responding to the beats by itself without him having to think about it. Somehow I never warmed to Govinda's performance. I found it very silly, vulgar and pathetic. People praise his dance skills and I found it an unmitigated torture. I used to say that I will not go to a theatre and watch his movie even if someone else sponsored the tickets.

Fact about Govinda:-.. in his early career he became so huge for his dance and action movies. With a little of comedy in late 80's. Than after breaking record of sholay by ankhein and shola and sabnam he only did comedy movies after that. .. in late 90's he decided to not to dance much..as his acting talent was hide behind his dance skills.. unfortunately only his lowest level of dance available these days on internet or in good quality but his early work as dancing start nicknamed "Street dancer" was just phenomenal... specially in late 80's nd early 90's all dance really good after that he purposely left doing only his dance based movies...as he himself said in an interview. About his acting part by most of his contemporaries he is exceptionally the best actor of his generation .. specially by salman khan and aamir khan you can check their interviews.

U know why Govinda has been sidelined in the Industry? Because he takes away all the limelight of a scene and no star wants to risk it. Just shows the talent of the man. And talking about Akshay and Govinda. Govinda came in mid 80s while Akshay came in early 90s. So Govinda was already a super star when Akshay was just working as an assistant to a photographer.
