Why Indian NAVIC is not being used. I heared toll collection was not required when it's within few kilometers from your home , badarpur toll plaza is within a kilometer but I had to pay full charge. I hope now I will not have to pay ...but every car now has fastag.

This is a good decision 👏🏻🇮🇳 this will benefit my family. some people are saying why we are paying toll tax if the government is taking road tax. The state government gets the road tax and National Highway toll tax goes to the central government. Toll tax is collected for the maintenance of national highways and to build new national highways.

Why toll free upto 20km? Arent they causing wear and tear of road? For every 1KM there should be a minimum fixed toll, even if it is 1 paise. This so called slab system has ruined the country, not just in toll but also in tax. Multiple such slab system gives reason for corruption.

Wherever people block or take control of manual toll plazas, in that state or area sat toll must be mandatory. This so that no loss to govt when anti nationals block highways and close toll plaza collections. Also, it must be derived what should be the toll over an entire stretch, example overall SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN RE 1 PER KM.
