Getting into IIT from government school is a tremendous achievement. Adjusting to life in IIT will be very challenging for students from Tamil medium background and government should conduct some bridge courses to prepare such students to get adapted into the new territory. The journey to getting into the IIT is easier than surviving inside the IIT. So you should focus on your studies. It will be challenging, too. I know how hard it is to get from Govt school to IIT. Thats some acheivement, coming from state board and preping for IIT in short span of time ,securing ranks is mind blowing. The kid is extremely intelligent to pick up things and score. For ppl who wonder why IIT is tough- go watch KOTA factory, kids prepare from early age to try cracking this. Simply Amazing da thambi , feel proud of you ! And a huge round of applause to their parents and their relentless efforts to support his education ! Phenomenal effort by our state govt!

Schools should identify such brilliant Students and encourage them by giving financial concessions and assistance. Government should take up all educational expenses of such brilliant Students. ❤
