GP de Bakou 2024 de Formule 1 par Peter Windsor

La course a été très serrée du début à la fin, avec Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) en tête depuis la pole position, mais Oscar Piastri (McLaren-Mercedes) prenant l'avantage après avoir chaussé des pneus durs Pirelli. Et Piastri est resté en tête, malgré les nombreuses tentatives de Leclerc (avec l'aide du DRS) au premier virage. Sergio Perez et Carlos Sainz (Red Bull-Honda), dans l'autre Ferrari, ont également participé à la fête dans les derniers tours, mais pour eux, cela s'est terminé en désastre - dans un tas de carbone et d'acier cassés contre les glissières de sécurité de Bakou. Piastri a donc remporté une victoire titanesque - un acte de classe éblouissant - de la manière la plus catégorique qui soit. George Russell (Mercedes) a hérité de la troisième place ; Lando Norris a fait une excellente 4e place après avoir démarré l'autre McLaren depuis la 15e place ; et Max Verstappen a terminé 5e sans succès.
