Medical officer/ general physician/ general practitioner all these terms are same . It's much better to mention your experience as a GP

It purely depends on the institution experience certificate format. The important thing is to have a valid experience as a GP for 4 years or more than 4 years .

Hello I am not saying that residency is not acceptable. Residency is acceptable for the omani people ( 1st priority). They can take froeingers as well . But to work as a GP and to show your training as experience is not acceptable

They are asking and testing your clinical knowledge and skills . The syllabus is a lengthy one but for example. How to deal anaphylaxis shock . How to approach fever ? How to handle cardiac arrest ? How to treat hyperthyroidism? Or hypothyroidism? Hypertensive emergency and urgency management? Etc

Greetings. 1. 8 hours a day for the government. Private almost same duty hrs 8 or 9 hrs a day ( mostly 2 shifts ) . 4 hrs in the morning and 4 to 5 hrs in the evening. 2. You can get a job through direct contact with the hospital . But agencies play a vital role in hiring these days . 3. OMSB is 100% compulsory for doing a job anywhere in oman whether it's government or private. After the OMSB ,you will appear for viva before starting your career as a doctor. Thank you

How to get a experience certificate from currently working hospital ?, However im having exact period of 4years . Do they expecting the doctors to be experienced from only GP sector or other department experience will be getting accepted? How about week offs and odd duty hours , will that be paid as overtime ? Hello . You can just request your hospital for your current working experience. They will provide you with the experience certificate, and you have to verify that experience letter from dataflow . Duty hours 8 to 9 hours per day and 5 to 6 days a week . Depends on institute type ( government usually 5 days a week and 8 hrs a day , while private usually 9hrs a day and 6 days week ).

Experience must be a GP as you have to work there as a GP
