I've already seen at least two non lockouts (one from Magnussen, the other from Eric Lilliebridge) which got white lights, can someone explain?

I'm sure that the judges are more than qualified to judge the proper execution of a deadlift, keep in mind that they are viewing at much better angles than from where this was recorded.

Also Sarychev let go of the bar before it touched the floor- should have also been red lighted Undoubtedly these are some of the strongest people in the world however for what was touted as the meet of the year there a lot of shoddy things about it. The "podiums" were plyo boxes for god's sake

Troy K Well that's geared lifting for you. I don't know what rule-set GPA subscribes to, but I agree with you that some of the lockouts looked dodgy and Sarychev should've been red-lighted by all three judges for releasing the weight before it was resting on the floor. But again, I don't know what this associations rule-set is, I take it they're a different entity than IPF? I consider IPF and their respective national federations the only legitimate association of powerlifting.

I had hoped the untested federations would get their shit together after seeing the IPF and set up some sort of parallel competition of equal prestige for these elite athletes. Dan Green standing on a plyo box podium just looks ridiculous

To all that say Benni didn`t lock the weight - pause video at the moment when the weight is at maximum height. There you can see he LOCKED it up! Despite that there are 2 judges from the left and the right and one infront of him! And please give the guy a credit - he has more titanium in his body, probably more than any of us will ever see in his life. Surgery isn`t so easy to recover. RAW is absolutely different thing than equipped ;)
