In 6:57 ,, why P is not 2 ??
@AjitVirkud7 жыл бұрын
Very good question. P1 is for previous twin pregnancy beyond viability, even though current pregnancy has gone beyond stage of viability, as per convention this is not added as yet to her parity status. After delivery of this baby it will become P2. I like students who have such keen sense of observation.

Is it not?

How come in savita's case p is not 2 although it crosses 28 weeks as considered a standard of parity.

Sir if u may pls confirm do insurance company ask for a post delivery or pre delivery GPLA status? Pregnant for the first time and delivered a baby what shall be GPLA (suitable to provide to insurance company) Thanks
@AjitVirkud6 жыл бұрын
If you delivered your first baby then you are NOW a Primipara i.e. G1P1A0L1. Assuming you have had no previous abortions. By the way, this has nothing to do with insurance claim; besides in India, you cannot claim insurance for pregnancy related conditions. Are you asking a rhetorical question?
@ekagra87026 жыл бұрын
Thank you sir! But that was not at all a rhetorical one as my employer gives a insurance cover for the maternity expense. After submitting all documents(bills, prescriptions etc) there was a requirement for the GPLA status certificate to be submitted.
@AjitVirkud6 жыл бұрын
Its OK. Which is this employer who is giving insurance cover for delivery? Are you working in a multinational or Tech company? Of course, do as they say. But frankly, GPAL notation should not matter to them unless they give insurance for limited (e.g 2) obstetric events.
@ekagra87026 жыл бұрын
I work in a Indian Multinational company a Manufacturing one. Once the employee completes 1 year with the organization he (for the spouse)/ she is entitled to claim the same. But insurer is asking for the GPLA certificate from the treating doctor..

thank you very much sir for your wonderful videos. but i would like to know why P is 0 in the final test you gave. i am confused. 🤔
@AjitVirkud8 жыл бұрын
+Amma Masab In GTPALM system, P refers to preterm births and not Parity. Savita does not have any porter births.
