I’m glad Will Howard came to Ohio St. He was able to Level Up as a Person and Quaterback and win the natty with the HARDEST PATH out of all the schools

Maybe we couldn't keep both QB's, fine. But let's get one thing straight. Will Howard called us the best fans in the country in 2021 after getting booed the week before. He broke our career passing TD record. He is a National Championship MVP level QB!!! When he did finally get the starting spot going in the 2023 season, the fan base called for the backup consistently. His success at Ohio State is proof we blamed him for problems that were not his own, including development (or trust) from coaches, the receiver room, and offensive scheming.

As a KSU fan, seeing Will Howard win a title is the closest I've known to how it feels to win a national title.

Will Howard wouldn't have leveled up like he did at Ohio State. It happened how it should have happened.

Will earned Avery’s playing time. Has everyone forgotten how he was playing in 2023. Lots of picks. He is a Robin not a Batman. He was perfect sidekick for Deuce who was the one who led the offense to the Big12 title. In addition needing a CFP format change for Will Howard to do this, it also took Covid. Sans Covid, he has no eligibility this year. Credit him for being prepared for the timing.

Avery had the exact same number of interceptions (10) this year that Will Howard had in 2023, and he also had a lower completion percentage. This year Will Howard threw for 4,000 yards and was the National Championship Offensive MVP. He led the Big Ten in Pass Comp %, Passing Yards, and TD's Responsible For. Trying to take that away from Will won't give us those stat lines.

@ Is Avery as a true freshman was the same as Will as a true senior. 2023 was fading away at Tech after the early L at Ok St. Thanks for proving my point.

Hater much? The Will we got after a year in our system (osu fan) was a huge step up from the Will we saw a year ago, but don’t get it twisted. The leadership was there, the winning attitude was there, and the dogged determination was there. It’s too bad the coaches at K State weren’t able to recognize/enhance those qualities.

The only difference in a Kstate home run and an Ohio State home Run is a mind set. If you don't think you can get someone, you won't. You miss on 100% of the balls you don't swing at (you like that Cole). Ohio State minus Will Howard went out and got some of the best players in the country. It worked. Kstate obviously doesn't have those kind of pockets. But you never know what might be on a kids mind. But what I know for an absolute fact, you will never know whats on his mind if you don't ask him. Cast a wide net and see what falls in. You have a much better chance at hitting on guys. But when you cast a small net and miss, it will equal underperforming season. Clearly you have to build a team while doing so. But the woah-is-me attitude of "we can't get the same players as Ohio State" is absolutely not the answer. They just got one of our players. So clearly our program has something to offer a National Championship level team. We as a fan base have to start acting in that same mind set. 🦾

K-State's offense just too damn bland for QBs to shine. Trey Lance a Big bust and unproven in college, Skylar a Snyder/Alien guy, Adrian spent 4yrs at Nubbs and it was Will who Klieman tutored for 4 yrs and finally developed despite the sluggish run gamef offenses with very little help on the outside. Awful play designs...just bland and predictable.

This nonsense ESPIN and Michigan fans put out there that Ryan Day would be fired after that loss is so far removed from what is truth. There is no one out there who can withstand the pressure of coaching Ohio State, who understands the culture and have anything more to offer than Ryan Day. The Mike Vrabel nonsense was also wrong. He got his coaching career started at Ohio State and said he didn't want to coach college football ever again because he hated the recruiting aspect. This broken record needs to be thrown out.
