There needs to be wholesale changes. Change the system to work for the players you have. The players clearly play better at up-tempo pace. Avery is much more comfortable and free at up-tempo

I'm happy to see Coach in better spirits today. I'm also glad to hear Coach emphasize cutting loose the offense, especially with Avery (not to mention the coaches' confidence in Tre Spivey and Joe Jackson).

Spivey and even Joe Jack should’ve been playing more much earlier in the season, Spivey does the “little” things better than all of the other WRs and has size that should’ve been utilized much more this year. It’s frustrating bc they spoke alot about Spivey being utilized more all fall and it hasn’t happened smh

I think it's time to pull out the most intimidating defensive scheme I have ever come up with...forget the 3-3-5 and just move to the 1-10! Nobody will know where the blitzing will occur....not even our own players.."Was he pointing at you or pointing at me?..And why are we all in one strait line??" See, I figured it out that in order to really confuse an offense, you yourself must be confused..that will show your sincerity that you have no idea of what is going on. The question would be if it would intimidate an offense to the point that they don't even try to run another play and just forefit the game...I don't see why they would, but I also don't see why they wouldn't, and isn't having a 50/50 chance better than 49 other possibilites? I’m worried after viewing Avery’s appearance today…two days later. He must know Riley is going nowhere too. 1.7 yards per play since Kansas? Trade Wells for Riley with mandate of up-tempo and a freeing of Avery to use his natural skills, get Spivey and Jackson a bigger share of touches. We don’t want Avery’s low ebb to transition into a portal entry. God bless you, Coach.

The defense played good enough to win. The first half play calling was awful. Avery missed some wide open guys for TDs and receivers dropped easy to catch balls. And then leaving 7-8 points of the board from special teams didn’t help either.

Coach wìll right the ship if it is possible. Our problems may be greater than we think. No football team is the same in November as they were in August. There is a lot of film out there and teams are countering what we do best.

Klieman’s over zealous coaching of Avery Johnson has permanently killed his authentic and natural skill sets. He needs to take a page from Andy Reid's playbook and "back off" It may already be too late. Avery may just need to hit the Portal ASAP if he wants to save his career. So sad for this young man.

How so? The team has hit a rough patch, no doubt. There are things that need to be worked on, but we are still 7-3 on the season. We are a young team and I expect that we will continue to have winning seasons, going forward.

@@LA67895 As I said, there are things that need to be worked in all three phases (offense, defense and special teams). I still don't know how that equates to our program being a "$h!t show." Everything we are struggling with is correctable.
