Swich lite accutualy that's why it's better than the steam deck. It also has a keyboard which may seem unecessary but is quite helpful. Also the TDP with 15W also can emulate the Wii U pretty well.

Seeing Wiiu being mostly playable on a handheld is a sight to behold! On a related note has their been any significant advances in PS3 or Xbox 360 emulation? Even if the answer is no, I'd still love to see what the upper limit of the GPD Win 3's emulation ability in handheld and docked configurations.

I can run PS3 games (emulation) at full frame rate on GPD Win 2. I just lowered the resolution and voila. Not very noticeably for the smaller handheld screen. I assume GPD 3 will run them fine at normal res. XBOX emulation scene is still pretty bad, so it’s got a ways to go, before running games without glitches.

@@Mr_Sasquash Valve is not trying to make any more handheld also the steam deck is so big that it can dock the swich itself and this is the size of a swich lite so yeah also this is more powerful as in benchmark because the deck can run cyberpunk at 30fps while this can run it at 45 fps at the same TDP

@@1415gatewayable sounds like a trolling thing to say, but it's actually probably true. If the Aya was a bit closer in power to the Win 3, I would've chosen it for the larger screen, but the power difference is substantial

@@kevinbuchanan67 yeah I know it sounded kind of funny when I said it but it was the truth. Even on the newer AMD chips they tried this CPU out and it beat it. I'm not a fanboy for Intel but I am a fanboy for facts. The thing is this Intel chip save that the ideal and highest TDP is 28, but bro I saw someone with a TDP of 50 he tested a game on PlayStation 3 with the win 3. And he also played Dead space maxed out 4K with a TDP of 38-40 temps were not that hot either.

Wish I could have both cause the Aya's bigger screen is fricken perfect for a handheld. It also has gyro, which is almost essential to me, for a handheld. They both came so close to being perfect...

Amazing. I already backed it a couple months ago ; but heard from other sources that Wii U emulation in particular was a sore spot on the WIN3. Glad to see my worries were unfounded. I'm now operating at 100% hype levels; Can't wait for this thing to come in! A request if I may: Would you be able to run Xenoblade Chronicles X? BOTW hovering in the 45 - 50 FPS range tells me pretty much everything I need to know already, But it would be nice to have solid numbers. Also, what does battery life look like at a constant 20W? Sorry if you've already answered this in-video; I'm at work at the time of writing so I have the volume completely turned off. What can I say, when The Phawnx drops you gotta do what you gotta do lol

Ahh~ yes. The BotW emulator with the ability to play other WiiU games as well. As someone who cares only about Mario Kart 8 on both the Win3 and Neo for the days when Corona is over, I am happy to see it works flawlessly.

If you don't mind a 5.5 inch screen (same as Switch Lite), then GPD Win 3. If you want a bigger screen, then Aya Neo. Performance is almost the same between the two, but Win 3 performs a little better even with worse drivers, but just a little.

At the end the storage would be the same. You should always download shaders when available.

It's relatively faster, especially in it's i7 variant. Both CPU and GPU perform better in general, and emulators love that.

I'm only getting 20fps in BOTW. I even tried lowering the graphical settings via the community pack. No luck. I have precompiled shaders enabled, asynchronous compilation, and nearest neighbor. I've been trying for a good hour to tweak this game to par. I have the latest drivers installed. I'm stumped.

I chose the neo, because I already find my win 2's screen too small and it's 6 inches. My guess is that the win 3 is going to be ok for emulation but text heavy pc games are going to be a pain to read on that screen.

Ох как же медленно развивается рынок таких устройств, а жаль, они на мой взгляд, очень практичные. Жаль цена на них для некоторых стар довольно большая. У меня, как пример, если вычесть все расходы с моей зарплаты, на руках остаётся 5-10 долларов. С такими деньгами очень трудно позволить себе что то за ~1000 долларов. Если бы появлялись недорогие устройства, типа Linx Vision 8 (который стоил всего 100 долларов) то пользователей таких устройств стало бы больше и я думаю что они бы со временем рассматривали покупку более дорогих вещей, типа этого же GPD win3 и ему подобных. А так, людям даже начать не с чего. Остаётся только N Switch, планшеты на win10 на (CPU atom)+ телескопический геймпад или GPD win 1, который на бывший в использовании, стоит как тот же N Switch.

Not a good idea to show Nintendo owned properties, if you have enough views they will 100% come after you, 3rd party stuff is fair game. Sadly you only have license to play these games as allowed by the owners, hence you cant show them in a reverse engineered console technically. Fair use doesn't apply :( still fun to see they run!

GTA5 has been done a tonne, by Phawx as well as every other youtuber who has one of these. The Assassins Creed games have been covered too. Battlefield 5 runs fine, so I'd assume Battlefront 2 will run fine too since it's the same engine. Someone definitely tested Just Cause 4, I've seen it. The only one I haven't seen is Mafia 3. Please look around before you ask.
