Dilla ate music for breakfast, never lived on a shedule, could transmit feeling in an instant and made beats (even for Erykah) on the fly. The GOAT and then some. How the kick trips over the snare in this beat is amazing. Superficially it's a classic boom bap...but this is so much more.

Wow. So, I had played the beat back right before it would hit one of those 2 second pauses, and the fading in of the intro was so perfect, that it made me think the beat was still playing without me running it back lmao. Damnit, Dilla. You were just you, and that's f**kin dope.
