Glen, Saw this on the replay of your stream! I couldn't believe how big it was, I was just expecting a small Pi-Like board. However, once you explained what was needed to get everything to work as you intended, I SO APPRECIATED that you and your team took the time to get all the right components for a plug and play install! Bravo Glen! And I also like that you are offering just the small board for those who want just that piece. I'm going for the Full Monte, though! And because it was so much more than just a small computer part to get seamless integration, I have no problem paying more. $120 seems more than reasonable when it comes to what you've put together here. I just can't visualize in my head right now, how and where this is going to fit in my Gold Edition cabinet. But, I know Glen will have a video tutorial showing how to make it all work and I'm glad to hear it will be easier to setup in a Gold Edition. It's the reason I've held off installing your ultimate control panel. I want to do it all in one shot :) Thanks again Glen for helping us expand our Home Arcades when things go south, or other company's products aren't up to snuff. Having our Home Arcades not just look the part, but actually play the part, is SO IMPORTANT! You're the best! vgv

Very cool Glen! Question... are there currently any plans to create a mounted positional analog type gun? I can see you using a lot of the tech from your Atari yoke to do something like that. I don't believe anyone else offers this type of gun, so there is a gap in the arcade control marketplace for these. Something that resembles the T2 guns with recoil would be awesome to see in the future!

Glad to see this "in the flesh" so to speak but I have to say the form factor took me back somewhat. I hope it gets revised before its its release and slimmed down a little. Alternatively, it looks easy enough to disassemble to mount on a single wood panel within the bartop itself along with your GRS control deck. Might also just wind up using just the switcher as my AMP is working 100% at least right now. Question Glen: the $120 price point includes the Viper board as well or is that a separate purchase?

Hi Glen, I'm interested in this product, I'm having a hard time finding a video showing what the GRS Viper can play and what it cannot play (games and systems). Is it better than a Pi or equal to it? Love the videos where people move up in emulation difficulty with each game they show each game so the video can show what it can play, and what games it cannot play. Thanks in advance!

Videos will come. As far as performance I am more a classic gamer so the current viper RK3566 is better than a pi 3 and in some emus near a pi 4.

Is it possible to install this on a gold cabinet without the GRS control pannel? Love the look of the iircade stock setup and dont want to have to make the control pannel switch if it can be avoided.

U can just power it on ..it will always default to Viper ..

The Viper switcher is designed to complement the GRS Ultimate Control Panel. With that said. .. I am sure it can be used alone
