Good morning as usual, amazing video and fantastic information with the last skid plate Did you get any vibration or noise as I will be doing a lot of motorway work. I’m contemplating buying this for my world rade. 🤘

No vibration noises.. Only thing I hear is my exhaust and the cubbies wining LOL. Never had any hormonic vibrations from the skid plate, only worry had been the mesh net I installed. But rode it to the office yesterday, no issues at all.

@@everythingtenere I must admit I like the idea of the gold mash. I have been emailing GPmucci as I would like all the welds on the front where visible ground flat before it goes for powder coating so you would not be able to see any joints. In your video, it’s very clear to see the skid plate. Do you think this would work?

@@everythingtenere Okej, låter lyxigt ;) Har nyligen skaffat mig en t7, och precis upptäckt din kanal. Gillar innehållet! Undrar hur mycket du kostat på din hoj sedan ny ;) Har beställt ett par kraschbågar till min då jag tappat den flera gånger redan och repat upp kåporna fram bredvid tanken, samt spräckt en. Gör lite ont i hjärtat på en nästan ny och såpass dyr hoj :D Men det är väl en del av att lära sig köra offroad tänker jag, oundvikligt helt enkelt. Och än så länge är det bara plast som gått sönder, troligen inte alltför dyrt att ersätta. Kör med originaldäcken nu och där jag bor har snön inte försvunnit helt än och vissa vägar i skogen är väääldigt mjuka och leriga. Tycker dessa däck är väldigt halkiga i lera, så jag ska även sätta på ett par mer offroad inspirerade däck som förhoppningsvis kommer hjälpa mig att inte ramla i leran :)

Can I still use crash bars if I install this Thor skit plate?

The Yamaha OEM onej work, but you have to request the fitment kit and then drill the hole in the skid plate. All mikes are slightly different, so that’s why is no longer pre drilled as on gen 2 skid plate. As alignment is not always 100% then. GPmucci have a guide on how to do it that will be shared if you buy the kit.

Yes, the OEM ones and maybe some more. But you have to specify it when ordering

It´s a master piece of handcraft, bur i will stay with AXP, more silent and this version it´s too much open for my taste.

Hand made Buddy, robot welds are so common so you think human hands doesn’t look nice. I’m not bothered at all, it’s a peice of art

@@everythingtenere I am aware that it is handmade but there are no reason for such rough and ugly welds. A skilled welder can make it just like machine weld. I can get over the welds but the price is just ridiculous so i have a bit more expectance

@@Gecata80 I must say, I do agree reference the welding. I’m just about to order the skid plate and I’m going to ask for the external welding to be ground flat before it goes to powder coating
