Hi, I've followed it so far but when I transfer the saves across the "ServerHostSettings.JSON" file always fails to transfer. Do you know why and is this whats causing the server to start from fresh again?

This video has a serious issue with the process, you need to tell people to copy over the JSON files in the save file directory in order for everything to load properly.

I'm in the process of changing clan size on public server from 6 down to 4. There are NO active clans over 4 ppl currently as it was a new server. I've downloaded the save file from GPORTAL via FTP through FileZilla. Can I change the clan size setting and restore the game from the previous setting so that existing players and clans can continue on as they were without losing progress?

Hey Mansley, if you upload a save file that includes your character with all that is connected to that character. But since the new update requires a reset (if you want to play it) you will need to create a new character anyway. Of course if you don't want to play the new content you can still play your old save. Regards Steven from GPORTAL

Hey. Is there any way you could go over changing the damage the player deals? I've been tweaking it but it doesn't seem to have any affect if you change after you made a character.

Doesn't work. it print "Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS." and then "530 no such username" after I clicking quickconnect in filezilla

Does this transfer the data for every player? I hosted a world with my friend but want to transfer it to my server. Will her data also transfer? ?

Hey markie, this should export all castles, etc. ... on a map. If a player is not available anymore those castles should decay over time. But if the players are also still on it again they should be able to access their castle as before. Regards Steven from GPORTAL
