I’ve noticed that power efficient cards like the 3060s and 3070s have been holding their price pretty well compared to a 3080, which is only about 100 bucks more in some cases.

Yes, for profitable ASICs (except KAS and Alph) - For GPU's, yes and no. Locally no. On Ebay, yes. GPU's locally have been going down since the unofficial announcement of the RTX 5000 series. I live in Canada.

GPU hardware went down so far and people were purging models to get by during the crypto winter, I kept my single 2070 mining until 2023 and just couldn't afford to eat the costs while I was transitioning jobs and I sure wish I had, really happy to see the markets climbing!

USA. I think the gpu market wont see quite as aggressive pricing as the last time around but I definitely am expecting a moderate price hike for the old reliables. The really strong mining cards will still most likely get wild price fluctuations.

USA! Definitely seeing a slow increase in hardware prices. A bit different this cycle with no ETH to mine and no shortages due to covid but hardware is going to continue up in prices. Especially asics

Prices have definitely increased. PCSP rigs are a good example. The CMP 100-210's you bought are $25 more. Tough trying to expand so close to Christmas.

ROCM is supported on RX VEGA's and since OLLAMA now supports it prices even for those have gone up. I've been slowly selling mine off as I replace them and this year I'm selling them for 2x what I was last year.

Gpu prices are definitely going up. Been looking at 4060 and 4070. Just crazy in pricing. I have tons of Rx580. Need to update.

I don't think anything older than a 3000 series NVIDIA GPU will go up much in price. Some factors to consider are things like AMD GPUs are not good for mining things have to do with AI. NVIDIA 5000 series GPUs are coming out early next year, so everything older will go down in value some. Any altcoin that has ASIC's on it are not profitable mining with GPUs. The environment has changed for what GPUs are used for, and the older GPUs don't have enough VRAM and bus bandwidth to deal with many newer altcoins. Prices for GPU may go up some for now, but not last long. The profitability makes the ROI way too long.

Prices are going up because new generation of AMD & NGREEDIA GPUs are coming and apparently they won't be that cheap... CPUs are also seeing the same trend due to Ryzen 9000s and new INTEL CPUs being quite underwhelming, with the exception of maybe the 9800X3D, so old generation of CPUs still retains some value...

Im seeing average sale prices for the RX 470 around $25 on eBay, if you multiply by 12 cards, you could net $300 before seller fees, making the Octominer case+PSU almost free.

GPUs never went down like I would have expected. There was no RX 470 for 75$ moment this bear market. I really don't understand why not. There's hardly any GPU mined project that can take the place Ethereum held as far as emissions.
