I'm a super beginner sewer and have watched many other videos of people making covers. Your video is my favorite and the one I will try to duplicate. The clips are brilliant. I can't stand pinning fabric and I am going to try this technique. Thank you.

Thank you. I wanted a no-nonsense practical cover. This was excellent especially how you did the handle.

Well done. Nice presentation, too. May I suggest adding a flap that will cover the handle hole. Help to keep more dust out of the machine when it isn't in use. Lift the flap, to reach in and raise the handle. Amazing how fast workshop dust can accumulate, especially with some jobs. (Even with all the stuff we do to try to keep it at a minimum. ) Thanks for sharing. Have bookmarked for future reference.

Thanks for the kind words! The flap is an excellent idea! I think I'll do that!

Nice video, GP. The dust hood looks great. Smile, when are you going to get your first jeans pants ?? I have seen you sew on the beginning, first before, then back and then normal forward. I did it at the beginning, meanwhile I changed it. I tighten the fabric about 2.5cm (about 1 inch) deeper, close back and then normal forward. ----------------- Schönes Video, GP. Die Staubhaube sieht super aus. Smile, wann nächst du deine erste Jeans Hose??

:) I have been thinking about making some clothes... I'm not ready for that yet. I did make some pants into shorts... but I don't think that qualifies.

Is the sewing machine in the workshop with the lathe etc? I guess you really would need a cover!
