Had a turbo back in '87, still the prettiest of them all...and power combined with comfort.

I worked at a dealership during this era of bikes as the set up/ assembly guy. Assembled , set up and test rode dozens of these bikes. Along with The Hurricane's, Gsxr's, Honda Rebels and Suzuki Savages the best selling bikes of the era, other than dirt bikes.

I have an '84 750gpz (Silver) garage kept with only 6k miles. I am the original owner with Historic Plates. Also super clean but have to sell due to back injury. Have hardly ever riden the baby over the 40 years. (my roommate back in the 80's had this exact Red Turbo..freakin crazy ass bike when that thing kicked in.

I owned an 84 Turbo the exact same bike when I was in the USN. It was as clean as this bike since most of the time I was out at sea. II got rid of it when I got transferred to s new duty station. I really wish I could have kept it. Today, I own a 2020 Harley Davidson Road Glide special.

What are these worth? Have an all original showroom quality one from my dad. Been stored indoors in the basement my whole life. He bought it brand new in the 80s

Hey, Eric, I'm a friend of Windy's and I helped run a club for Japanese factory turbocharged bikes for years. Kawasaki ZX750 Turbos are quite collectible. But value -- like all collectible bikes -- depends on cosmetic and running condition (and you DO have title in hand, correct?) You claim your Turbo has been stored indoors, as you write, "my whole life" (and you're much older than 12), I'm assuming it's in excellent-to-mint condition. Add to that a fine state of tune (obviously you would need to start it up and ride it to make that determination) then you can expect $10K+ for the bike. If it's not running, subtract $2K-$3K. (One caveat; it can easily set you back $2K-$4K to breath life into a non-running Turbo). Where to sell the bike is another matter. I would not recommend SOLELY listing it on a Facebook page for 750 Turbos. Why? Well, everyone there already has a ZX Turbo and they would tend to lowball the value. But in ADDITION to listing it there friends of mine highly recommend BringATrailer.com. Serious site, and serious buyers who trend toward deeper pockets. Check it out and good luck.
