Spent 2 days grinding my patio uprights. 4 hours in with Makita battery grinder bought a $100 240V Makita and thankfully i did, it was 2x quicker. I found the same thing with flappers plus they stripped too Much metal. It’s a Hard job, good work.🤙🏽

Get some seam sealer all round those plates on the chassis to prevent the pate and chassis rusting from the inside out.

It was in the cards, but the tub would need some major fab work to deal with extra flex and 35s, Maybe another job down the track 😉

You like the psr tray mounts kit? Just bought a lot for mine 2-4 week wait so that puts a pause in my works unfortunately

Yeah not bad kit, some of the mounts didn't line up so great, just has to grind a bit so they can sit plumb on the chassis and just keep double checking the measurements. Other than that they are good 👍

I bought the gu chassis from the wreckers, the gq cab is pulled apart on the latest videos. The next episode that I am editing the gq ute cab is lifting off 🤙
