Jake Gyllenhaal and Dennis Quaid forgot they played father and son in Day After Tomorrow and an interviewer had to remind them lol.

I've always enjoyed hearing her interviews. She carries herself really well and i dunno she just has this warmth but also knowledge behind what she says. So often you see actors and actresses "play it up" or try to seem smarter than they are, but she seems genuinely intelligent and just genuine. She's never been "affected" by fame and I've always appreciated that

Got to meet her irl. She was filming nearby and was kind enough to meet me after her full day of filming. Started filming at 5am and came to meet me when she wrapped at 10 or 11pm. Absolutely sweet of her. ❤ She signed her book I had for me.

Hearing that the Chris Watts story (near where I live here in rural Colorado) and her own very personal experience in an abusive relationship spurred a sudden interest in “true crime” and then her wish to direct the movie “Woman of the Hour” was very moving to me. Bravo, Ms. Anna Kendrick, bravo!

I love Anna Kendrick, check out her autobiography it's very interesting. Disappointed they didn't talk about her role in The Accountant, she was great in that, she also has a story about being in that film that she talks about in her book, about how she was excited to do a musical number with Neil Patrick Harris to open the Oscars but wasn't going to be able to because she was filming the movie, but Ben Affleck sent her to LA on his jet so she could make it in time

50/50 is one of my favorite movies, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of my favorite actors (and celebrities, tbh, he’s just so decent and smart), so getting to hear her talk about his approach and the way it helped her deliver her own stellar, warm performance was amazing. She’s so funny and thoughtful.

Given her theater background, i'd love to see her tackle a musical someday. Even if Pitch Perfect is making a fourth movie, yeah let's get Anna to direct the whole thing. And i'm sure there are some Broadway productions that fits perfectly for her to direct. Always pulling for Broadway actors to direct movie musicals, Lin-Manuel Miranda has done that, maybe Anna should give it a try

50/50 is a great movie. Feel like it doesn't get talked about enough. Kinda surprised The Voices wasn't in this, but im also kinda happy about it because it will stay that hidden gem type movie haha. One of my favourite Ryan Reynolds movies and it seems not many know about it. But its crazy and incredible and darker than it seems and i love it 😂

17:04 when you consider that he wrote Sweeney Todd, a show with a serial killer barber and a cannibal baker but also a rapunzel type in Joanna, it makes a lot of sense that he wrote her like that into the show. I dunno if he had a part in casting her as Cinderella, but having that perspective does indeed make Kendrick like THE BEST cinderella in a much more fantastic realistic way

really great feature debut with woman of the hour. the relationship the women have with each other in the film in contrast to the men with the women is outstanding. all that while she keeps building up the tension/suspense with the killer on screen. really really great. i can't wait what she directs next.
