FYI, I got the regular spaceview, and it appears the receiver no longer has the SD card slot. There’s a tiny indentation where it used to be. Also per the manual it stated that the SD card slot was only to be used for firmware updates and not recording video. Interesting that they removed this feature. So far so good otherwise. I would probably go for the pro if I had to choose again. Got it on sale and thought the wide angle lens (not included with pro) was going to be needed. For anyone that had their die, there are videos on KZbin on how to do a battery replacement. They don’t make it easy but better option then just becoming e-waste.

Thank you for a great video. We got the spaceview monitor back in 2020 and have really liked it. During prime sale this year, we got a ‘renewed’ spaceview pro for half the price. We figured we would just use one of the monitors with both cameras. Unfortunately, we have not been able to add our original camera to the spaceview pro or vice versa. Any suggestions? Are these two models incompatible for two camera use?

They should be compatible. I had a similar issue but a firmware update to the latest on all devices (camera and monitor) solved the issue. Give that a try.

I’ve never had issues with cradle cap, but I’ve had a lot of luck with Mustela brand in general. They make a cradle cap shampoo and cream.

We used baby moisturizer and a sterilised cooled comb. It worked beautifully for us!

What do you think about - eufy Baby Baby Monitor 2 with 2k resolution. Any expeince about that one?

I haven’t had experience with that but it seems like a decent option if you don’t care for a dedicated baby monitor. Personally I like having a baby monitor so I can leave the screen on while my kids sleep. Technically if you have a spare old phone or tablet you could turn that into the dedicated monitor and still have the option to check in on your phone when away from home.

Nice review! Just wondering why you need to charge the battery. Couldn't you just keep it plugged in?

You could keep it plugged in if you plan to keep the monitor in a single location. We like taking it around the house as sometimes we’re prepping food in the kitchen and others upstairs in the office area.

You can but it’s not included. I used my regular one’s wide angle lens on my pro no issues.

Since there’s no wifi it only connects to the included monitor with no app options.

The spaceview and spaceview s has the sd card slot (micro sd). Easy way to tell os the version with the kickstand.

They have a newer model called Eufy baby monitor 2 with 2k. Better than Pros and S models I believe?

Video quality wise it's better, but you need to use your own device as a monitor. This could be a pro or con depending if you want to have a dedicated monitor. The other thing is I know many parents don't like having internet connected baby monitors as those have a higher chance of being hacked. Also if the internet goes down the Pro and S will still work.
