It just goes to show how effective bunting is nowadays, ie not effective at all. Unless you're a super fast base stealer, and maybe getting shifted, then it can be effective to sneak hits through against poor defenders otherwise its still better for pitchers to just swing away and bat 150 with a 50% K rate than try and bunt for a guaranteed out.

I was in the stands at Engel Stadium in Chattanooga for "42." For every live person in the seat, there were maybe 5 or 6 dummies, but the officials there told us that nobody would ever notice and would only focus on the movement. The best part of the movie's accuracy was how the workers there made Engel Stadium look like Ebbets Field in 1947. My favorite baseball movie is the campy comedy, "It Happens Every Spring," where a college professor accidentally creates a substance that repels wood and becomes the best pitcher in baseball using his foreign substance. Anchor Down Walker!
