GR Corolla | Improve Your Brake Pedal Feel | RADIUM ENGINEERING MASTER CYLINDER BRACE INSTALLATION

Help improve brake pedal feel and firm up the brake feel by eliminating flex in the fire wall during hard braking. This brace helps with just that.

I just ordered the DC Sports shifter base bushings (to accompany my racerX bushings and SS-highly recommend) and I was looking for install videos but can’t find any good videos for that brand on the GRC. Just sayin…they’re like $30 Also got the JB4 - gonna install that this weekend. Fingers crossed I don’t blow up my engine lol Keep up these videos. You, carquicks and that Da Boy have been awesome in all your install content.

The base bushings are pretty much the same on any car, not very hard at all. You have to remove the trim on the center console and then the 4 bolts for the base bushings can be taken out. You have to then push and twist out the OEM rubber base bushings and slide in the new metal ones. Screw in the new bolts and replace the console trim and you're done! I'll be making a video removing the center console trim soon when I have some plans for it but not sure when it will happen. Glad to know the videos are helping out!

I notice the difference in hard braking when driving on back roads but it makes sense when you think about it. When you brake hard there is enough pressure on the brake pedal that the firewall actually flexes. This little device prevents the firewall from flexing so it makes the brake pedal feel firmer and the braking experience better. 😎

@@jimsgaragetoys I'm going to Homestead for a NASA track event, this will be my third, but the only upgrades I did so far are the GR Brace strut bar, GR air intake and the 24 upgrades (Stickers and bolts), I guess this master cylinder upgrade will help me as well.

@@grcorollace Any driving that will involve hard braking it should help. I noticed better brake feel when driving the back roads when out on a very brisk drive and I would use the brakes hard when diving into corners late and hard on the brakes.
