Nice one daz out on another long walk again! Your mate was lucky you were there or that fancy expensive tent was lost! That's why i have my tent attached to my pack with string anyway thanks for putting this trip on KZbin i thought you'd given up posting! 👍😉 🍺🍺

Thanks Snowy he was definitely lucky I was behind or we would of been back tracking 🤣. Unfortunately new job means I can't get out as much these days but I did enjoy this one even in the rain 😀

Great video Dazz, some challenging terrain and I think the overcast skies did indeed do 11:56 you a favour, the trail looks a good one to follow. I have been to the island a couple of times in the past and climbed some hills with great views like yours but in the sun. I wonder if there are many shelters on the island like the one you came across which must have been a welcome sight ? Great tents thanks to you and Ian for sharing your adventure 👏👋

Hi, thank you for the great videos on GR221! I am preparing to hike GR221 myself, so I was wondering if you'd care to share your exact campsite locations? Keep up with the great work on your channel! 😊
@dazbass007Ай бұрын
@Alexander-q1b3x hi Alexander I haven't got exact camping spots recorded we just walked until we had enough for the day alot depends when you start ea day I only walked about 5 kilometres the first day as we started late but found a great little spot just off the trail the second night we camped at a refuge which is right on the trail the only time we struggled for a place to camp was near the end which was a little to built up to be able to hide away so I just carried on until the end and booked a hotel the last night. There are plenty of camping spots just remember the ground is very rocky so a freestanding tent would be useful although saying that my tent isn't freestanding and I still managed to pitch up ea night. have a great hike atb daz

Good to see you back on the trail Daz. I was in Mallorca in June and the mountain range looked quite spectacular from beach. It was a bit too hot to think about walking! Looks like you’re enjoying these trails in foreign countries. Look forward to catching up with the other episodes

Thanks Anthony it is a good trail I've been going mainly to get a bit of sun but my reputation precedes me 🌧 🤣

Nice vid, mate. You have a new subscriber. I understand that some of the issues with signposting on the earlier part of the trail are due to disputes over access and crossing private land. I did the legs from Valdemossa to Soller a few years ago and I'm back in September to do Soller to Puerto Pollensa. Looking forward to part two.

You chose a wet one Darren - walking without views for the most part. When you did see the sea and or other it was nice. Pitching was tough. Good going. Mark

Hey Mark great to hear from you. Me and the rain seem to have a thing going on 🤣 I can imagine the views yo be awesome on a nice day. Camp spots were tricky because of al the blinking rocks 🪨 but a good hike was had hope your all good ath daz

Hi Daz. Was that a deer walking past ? Did any lizards or big spiders crawl through the gap in your tent? Woke up in the rain. You and the rain man. Loved the views just before the first sign. Beautiful after st elm. It was really interesting following you on these first two days. Nice one.

@tubbatravels thanks tubba it was a goat. I sleep inside a bivvy , so bugs don't really matter that pesky rain sure does like me 🤣 though this was a different kind of walk sone tough elevation at times but was great once the rain stopped 😉 atb daz

Thank you for your video. What kind of gas did you find? Wondering whether to just bring a screw on stove or whether they need a camping gaz specific stove.thanks
@dazbass0074 ай бұрын
@stickyprickle thanks I use a Msr pocket rocket stove so a screw on type is fine there is a little camping shop not far from the bus stop.
