Gr86 Lowering Spring Install

So I am trying to do the same with my 2024 GR86, but I’m noticing that with the current spring compressors I have, I can’t compress the spring short enough to install the top portion of the spring dampener. What kind of spring compressor tool are you using? Thanks for the video, really helpful.

The compressor I used is similar to the ones you can rent at some auto parts stores. I believe I got mine from Amazon. I had a similar issue to the one you’re describing, but if you re-position the compressor you should have just enough compression to get the spring installed. I hope this helps!

how many finger gap after lowering spring installation bro

Both front and rear are now about a 2 finger gap. Pretty unofficial way of measurement but it’s a decent drop in ride hight!
