I've always liked yonaka exhausts. I have one on my EP3 and it's easily one of the best sounding civic exhausts. Not raspy at all. Has a lot of bass, not much done at all and it's loud enough to hear when you floor it, but super quiet at idle. I'm trying to get a BRZ soon and I'm so glad they make an exhaust for them. This'll be my go-to, especially thanks to your video.

I had a shop install it last Week. I like it. Windows up, it’s makes a Quiet hum. When I want to hear it I go windows down. Mike’s review is accurate. If you want a loud system look elsewhere. Cold start’s very mild. It may not impress you right away but I think you’ll like it!

I’d say the first gen Borla is the next step up in loudness but it’s more than twice the cost.

I like the sound, it’s not too loud and anoyying like the straight through designs. It sounds damn near like it came from the factory performance like that

Your stock system will pop gurgle and hiccup when you blip the throttle. It’s quiet but the Yonaka is pretty subdued too. Do you have a manual?

It sounds honestly really similar to the fujitsubo a r I have on my car right now. Yours _may_ be a few dB louder but it's hard to tell from a video. I have a catless uel on my car right now and it's still quieter than most of the popular catbacks alone

I just asked the dealership to turn the fake engine noise off and linked them to a video of the diagnostics tool showing them where to turn it off. Now it's off. No need to disconnect anything.

Can't re-enable it on the fly if you wanted to. Very fast to just pop the connector out, you can secure it if you don't want to risk connector rattle. Free and doesn't require a dealer visit.
