I can’t find anywhere how long one of these is supposed to last it used to smell kinda fruity and coconutty to me but now it smells really rancid but the color is the exact same, kind of scary, I think I should throw it out but if you have any input or help or have heard of anything similar please lmk.

@Lona_444 Hey hun, on the back of the container towards the very bottom, it says the shelf life is 12 months once you open the product. I don't follow the shelf life of products because I have so many, lol However, if it smells weird, I would personally throw it out. Try your best to wash your hands before using it and be careful transfering other products into it. That would change the smell. Hope that helps 🙏🏾

Hi, im a 15 yr old male and dont have much knowledge about my hair. Currently I dont use any products and my hair is super dry and my curls are ugly. I think I need to add moisture to my hair and I'm not sure if I should buy Cantu leave-in conditioner or Shea moisture leave-in conditioner. For some people the cantu product damaged their hair and for some it works. My tiny brain can't handle this. Could you tell me which one I should try out first. Btw I have high porosity hair.

Hey hun, Welcome to my channel. Thank you so much for reaching out. Please stop selling yourself short when it comes to your knowelge of your hair. You clearly know alot more than you think😊. Based on your anaylist I would recommend doing the LOC method. Which stands for Liquid, Oil & Cream. Just as you said everyone has different reactions to products. I can recommend the Cantu Shea Butter Leave not the Argan oil one as my hair doesn't like it. I would say start of simple with some water in a spray bottle for your liquid. This will hydrate your hair. Then add an oil of your lilely ex coconut oil or olive oil. The oil will seal in the water into your hair. the cantu shea butter leave in for your cream. Based on your hair high porosity retaining moisture is super important. Basically high porosity has a very open cuticle, meaning it can easily lose moisture. You want to start off with liquid hydrate your tresses. Next, you want to add an oil to seal. Lastly, you should apply Cantu Shea Butter Leave In. The reason why cream should be the last step for high porosity hair is because it has the thickest consistency, meaning it'll hold in the moisture. Repeat this 2 - 3 times a week. Don't forget to protect your hair while sleeping with either a satin pillow case, durag or bonnet. Cotton pillow cases dry out hair more. Make these changes and come back in 2 weeks and tell me how everything is. Best of luck🤎

Did you ever clarify your hair or use a shampoo with sulfates every once in a while.If not it will build up and then it will get harder for your hair to absorb moisture.
