Onitsha GRAs are somewhat nice. But more works needed on the roads. It needs more expansions too. But it is beautiful.. pls take us on some encouraging sites in Oba and Nnewi

one thing i noticed in the cities in the east....u see more of individual efforts than government efforts state and federal alike....state is doing the little they can and federal is not complimenting on their efforts......if you go to kano and lagos especially you see federal government presence with the efforts of individuals....

I just resolved and understand that anyone who praises the state of anambra roads as it's today,has not crossed head bridge. What a dirty state. That's our road is like this for year,does not make one not to criticise it,it's not normal. Travel to Enugu..uyo.or Lagos..even war torn city like Maiduguri dnt have the kind of roads we have in anambra. Am consistent ,and I will keep on repeating my self. Show me one road entire anambra state that is standard.with these amenities. Free sand on it. Free from dirts. Covered drainage systems. Interlocked walk ways. Functional traffic 🚦 light. Well marked. With all road cosmetics. Name the road here..I will ,I will implore the anchor chinedu to upload it here for assessment. We must 😮Change our thinking,and make the govt do the right thing. Thanks

One or two people's statements can not override that of many. I see almost every comment made here. People are complaining about bad or substandard roads in Anambra bitterly. All we are doing here is how to contribute our own quota in making Anambra, Southeast and entire Nigeria road be to standard with necessary infrastructure.

I never knew Onitsha is this big and is even more beautiful inside and the scenery of the GRA is indeed a beauty to behold. However, the roads are nothing to write home. Most of the roads are almost unmotorable and I am wondering whose job is it to fix the roads, GRA as we know it is supposed to be a highbrow residential area peopled by the top government functionaries and high net worth individuals, why the place so unkept? is it too much if they pull their money together fix the roads and make the place a tourist destination of some sort. they have the resources to do it or is there anything they know that we don't?

Givt should help to compliment the mases zeal of development,only i this part of world , people first build b4 govt intervention on roads planning t,thats why anambra t roads always looks unplanned. But a good govt can correct it if he has tge will,tokyo japan is never like the way its today,they did a drastic changes and renovation b4 it became what its today. We can.onmy we can do this .with a good supervision on quality delivery we can make our roads look like European roads. Thanks 👍

Anambra state that no single road in entire state that is standard,with paved walkways and covered gutters.none. No road in anambra state that is free from sand. I wnt u to travel to Enugu city and come back or to Aba,u will understand what is planning means.. If not cos of bad leadership Aba is most planned city in the east followed by enugu. Ur comparing all this tiny roads that sometimes leads to dustbin as a planned city.

Nice scenario but more needed, a lot of the roads need to be reconstructed and padesterian walk way need to install too. Maybe this is problem with nigerian civil engineers, i dont know why our roads are so bad with no amenities that comes with a standard road. Build a standard road and and watch this place look very nice, they dont even cut down their grasses.

YangaLife: i'm not a party to the slogan that people should contribute to do government responsibilities rather than to wait which is why till date the Eastern Gov. don't do their primary duties and have left our city centers to decay and illy planned bcoz of the believe of don't wait for Government which has been instilled into we Ndigbos. We now contribute for almost everything of government responsibilities which shouldn't be so., for transformer, for light, for roads, for schools, for nepa poles, for rural/urban planning, for sanitations, but other parts of Nigeria don't do such. We need to hold our State Governments responsible to account

The facelift on new road construction or repairing of roads looks ok but a lot is desired. For Anambra State government they need to take a page or model what they are doing with Onitsha after some city in Asia - See attach kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3LMnaefep2nnas . Some of the city is Asia are clean and waste are managed very well. They need to have a waste management system daily pickup. and home owners needs to contribute to pay private company and government waste management agencies to address waste, gutter / drainage system. water flow, through out the city needs better control.

Anambra state can as well learn from enugu on how city roads are being constructed. All roads must have a walk ways and covered gutters . Thats how its in enugu,which makes enugu the only city in d east that stands out.only city one can use to compare Abuja. Lets change our system of road infrastructure.
