Just watched your video! You guys are the cutest! My family & I visited Korea in October ‘19 and found delicious donuts at the subway station. In South Africa we have a similar donut called a koeksuster. Difference is no rice flour and we add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and all spice.

I ate these in Mangwon market in August these year they were sooooooooo good. It was just outside the market exit on the corner, some really famous place for thei Kkwabaegi apparently !! 1000w per piece.. really good stuff !! and the dough was really yellow... mmmmmmmm

you can cheat and use reg biscuit dough thats in the pop out tins in the cold section, we tear them in half and roll them in balls or you can twist them, twisting them - they normally turn themselves over when the side cooks but not always. i have 8 little ones in the family, so we make it as easy as possible. when done frying, we dust sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg or butter on them after they cool a bit but still warmish. the kids like to put whipped cream on it or dip in pudding. Happy New Years!
