All of these turned out fantastic! 99.9% of the time I make a stencil instead of vinyl. I think it looks way better and higher end. I've been making pillows with placemats like that for several years. I usually look for the seasonal ones to go on sale at Hobby Lobby. Instead of cutting a slit in mine, I just open a corner of the placemat with a seam ripper, fill it, then either sew it back up or glue it shut.

Love the ideas. I do the same thing as you did with the white plates. I have very limited space so can't store a lot. I have a charger plate that I reuse every season. Decorate with removable vinyl, take it off & redecorate. I did spray paint it, just to give it a little bit of a different look since it's in view on my zoom calls
