Really enjoyed this! Grace had some great insights but I feel a bit like you could have done some research on Grace beforehand.. no hate but I think it would have made the conversation flow better as it felt like you covered some of the same points multiple times because you didn’t have any background on her - overall enjoyed it though 👍🏼

Agreed. I do think that the whole ‘I didn’t watch too much on purpose’ can be good but I’ve always enjoyed when a podcast host knows a good bit of knowledge and uses the interview to fill in the gaps versus what is publicly available

Don't get me wrong she's incredibly successful at what she does, but I think the whole 'I came from a humble background and care about sustainability' is a facade, privately educated and studied at Oxford does not scream humble background to me, the rags to riches story always sells product (which is what Grace is incredibly good at)
@staycurious6443 жыл бұрын
Grace has never said ‘I came from a humble background …”. She has, a number of times, acknowledged her privilege and its role in her success. People like unfairly attacking Grace for her privileges because they aren’t secure in themselves. It makes people feel more comfortable in their own inferiority. Grace worked damn hard at Oxford while building her fitness initiatives. She’s a bright spark with an INCREDIBLE work ethic and she deserves all the success she can get.
@joecurtis71243 жыл бұрын
@@staycurious644 you're acting like you know her, the reality of it is, she's an influencer that owns a fast fashion brand and uses the 'sustainability' card as their unique selling point and shreddy is just another lame fitness app for people who are too lazy to work out properly themselves.
@staycurious6443 жыл бұрын
@@joecurtis7124 Both of your points don’t make sense. Calling people lazy because they invest in their fitness with an app. That’s the antithesis of lazy. Using sustainability as a USP is not a bad thing when it’s backed by sustainable practices - and Tala is…
