I've never heard this Beyonce song before, but Grace Potter and the Nocturnals certainly make this song their own.The bass and drum beat is mesmerizing-as is the clapping. Also, I sort of love her drummer. What a handsome man! I love this song so much.

Grace has sung this Rocknroll style. It isnt better its just different from Beyonces who geared hers towards a more pop audience.Dont get it why people hang it on one or the other? Art is always going to be different and so is music,that's what makes it all the more interesting.You dont have to hang shit on a style, artist or their fans to justify your own taste,stand alone, appreciate others who do too.Embrace diversity in life and it will be more fun.Strange how some jealously guard their likes and loves but at the same time want more to be just like them with the same likes and loves.How boring.

I did not say beyonces version was rubbish in fact i like it i just prefer this version. i have also said elsewhere that i prefer blondies version of heart of glass to graces version . i have enough musical taste and experience to like many different styles and i do not automatically think everything a particular artist does it either great or rubbish. i like some of leonardos paintings and i do not think the mona lisa is the best. please do not try to put people into your limited number of pigeon holes.

I must say. I'm a huge beyonce fan. And was a little sceptical upon listening to this version. But she did a good job.
