Poor storyline aside, it’s worrying what this video insinuates about pets. A pet is a lifelong responsibility - and a companion with feelings - that shouldn’t just be given away like an object. Of course, that’s unless the owner had no other choice, which is maybe what this video was attempting to portray? If so, that unfortunately didn’t shine through. The cinematography and actors were good though! There was also a great opportunity here to include a message about considering adopting from shelters. After all, Christmas is the season of giving :)
