Grace is hilarious. when Tom asks how her house got burned down by Marin County her response "well I don't think they had a planning commission meeting about it..."

she sure is a good, interesting watch (almost on a par with John Lydon's bizarre, intense 'interview')

My dream girl since I was a kid, huge airplane and starship fan, Grace is one of the greatest singers ever, male or female, Tom Snyder was a great interviewer, loved his show.

When was the other interview?
@bluzmansb5683 Жыл бұрын
Have always wondered what happened to this interview could never find it on KZbin... Tom "Bud" Snyder and '60s Queen of acid Rock Grace Slick. Tom had an interesting format and obviously Grace and he had great chemistry. Grace is always so self-effacing... In her musicality, her accomplishments and even her beauty. She is so underrated... But by her standards, that's okay. Thanks for posting!

How can someone who's classed as a music icon be underrated? You should edit your comment and remove it
@bluzmansb56832 ай бұрын
@nickjohnson710 because if you understood the meaning of the term you'd understand that Grace Slick is underrated. Grace possessed an unmistakable voice and presence. She came from an era where many of her compatriots died young ... becoming Superstars as a result. Grace survived and lived on and her amazing contributions to the world of rock were forgotten or diminished.

Haven't seen this one yet but Grace seemed so geeky on some of these interviews in all fairness though I blame some of the dumb answers were because of the questions they asked her

I used to think that Grace had a revolutionary free spirit attitude. Then, I heard about her privileged background. It seemed to me that she was just an entitled rich brat, not a counter culture luminary. I remember an interview where the audience was calling her out on her wealth. And she was like an arrogant rich lady. I find her only interesting when she is talking about the 60s as a witness. When she talks about herself I find it a bit boring. She did not talk about her background back in the 60s. She is the absolute embodiment of the Commercial Industrial Complex. Sell, sell, sell.
@bluzmansb56832 ай бұрын
@FindAReason... well you spewed did you get it all out..? Not too judgmental, are we? So Grace's father was a banker . Her mother had been a singer. I guess her DNA makes her a corporate elitist ? She lived for decades in a very modest home in Mill Valley. She chose the life of an artist. Your sumnation of her and her life .. is very misleading , to the life she actually has lived.
