It makes me so angry when I see truly a gifted singer/songwriter like Grace not topping the charts. Why isn't her label promoting her more? One Direction and Little Mix were all solo singers who were rejected, then brought back by simon who formed them into groups, now they're multi-millionaires. None of these have the talent of Grace, where's the justice. True talent is rarely appreciated.

I just played this song to my husband of 22 years. We have been through so much. Always thought when Grace sung this on her audition it was one of the best auditions ever such a unique voice, no body sounds like her, and the fact she writes so much of her music. I cant even remember who the group was that beat her in the final let alone what happened to them, she should have won in my book.

Years ago there was a couple busking at the Chicago Theatre underground EL stop. They started singing "Someone like you". Soon after they started the song, me and another guy started singing it with them....then three young kids joined in. Then an elderly couple....and before long, the entire platform was singing Adele's masterpiece. This is one of those songs. Sharon knew it which is why her eyebrow raises early in the song during tryouts, and Simon knew it and you could tell from the look on his face. This song is YOUR masterpiece.
