Solomon never wanted a long life, or enormous wealth. And David is the biggest piece of ..it in the entire Bible. And the blessings of the Lord are purely materialistic. Not spiritual. Not at all. And the Lord was happy with David because he blindly followed orders.
@Rachk1229 Жыл бұрын
I was reading the Bible a while ago in the book of Kings. I had asked the Lord why, if King Solomon was so wise, would he do such awful things and worship other gods. The Lord responded right away so loudly in my spirit it was as if it was just shy of being audible. He said, “Because he got caught up with the wisdom of the world.” I was mind blown when He said that! One because of what He said, and also because He spoke so loud and clear. There is a huge difference between the wisdom of the world and the wisdom of heaven. The world will lead you astray. It reminded me of the Wordly Wise Man in the Pilgrims Progress. He led Christian astray, even though the Lord told Christian where to go. The Wordly Wise Man made it seem so enticing for Christian to take the “shortcut” to his destination, but all it led to was trouble. Remember to stay grounded in the word of God, and your eyes fixed on the Lord. He is your rock and your foundation. Find shelter in Him alone.

1 Kings 9 3 The Lord said to Solomon: “I have heard the prayer and plea you have made before me; I have consecrated this temple, which you have built, by putting my Name there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there. 4 “As for you, if you walk before me faithfully with integrity of heart and uprightness, as David your father did, and do all I command and observe my decrees and laws, 5 I will establish your royal throne over Israel forever, as I promised David your father when I said, ‘You shall never fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’ 6 “But if you[a] or your descendants turn away from me and do not observe the commands and decrees I have given you[b] and go off to serve other gods and worship them, 7 then I will cut off Israel from the land I have given them and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. Israel will then become a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples. 8 This temple will become a heap of rubble. All[c] who pass by will be appalled and will scoff and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’ 9 People will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the Lord their God, who brought their ancestors out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them-that is why the Lord brought all this disaster on them”

I actually had a vision/dream sober whilst meditating and it was of Jesus I was sort of viewing through my own eyes but I was elevated slightly and Jesus walked ahead and it his robes was whiter than snow literally glowing white and I noticed he was looking at three men stood against a wall two was well off men one had designer clothes on and the other had a suit and both was respectable members of society then I noticed the third man he had black greasy hair and was dirty and was wearing modern clothes with tears and dirt all over them and also looked to be on drugs and Jesus was stood there and all of a sudden it was like I saw this man as Jesus saw him he was suddenly young and fit and his face was full of colour and drug free and then I felt an intense love coming from Jesus but it felt like he wasn't showing all the love he had for this man and the love was something which I couldn't comprehend and I was begging Jesus not to show me more as it was tearing me apart I couldn't breath at all the butterflies in my stomach feeling was going into my chest and once I carried on asking I came out of it feeling the most relaxed I ever have despite been paralysed for a few mins after I couldn't move and it became clear so many people act like Jesus doesn't exist and sin openly and gleefully against God and some even mock Jesus on the cross and we don't give a second thought to God as to how it feels for him when we can't even handle the love he has for us even when we are down and out he loves us even when the world hates us and mocks and spits on us he still has this unbelievable love for us I know what love is I loved my Mum and I hope to see her again one day and it was more intense than that I honestly think if Jesus would of allowed me to feel any more of his love for this one man I would of died and I'm been serious I'm not making this up I'm infact a terrible Christian and I don't feel worthy having this dream or vision even if it was a dream made in my own head I still know that the message is true and we can't begin to understand god's love I don't want to say this was a vision from God or a dream but I feel like it was accurate in terms of us never understanding God's love for us and us not to be able to handle it as mortals.

Thankfully God gives me strength to keep going. I have faith God will provide. He HAS THIS FAR. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Please pray for me and my children.

There's nothing wrong to ask for prayer. As a matter of fact, FAITH WITHOUT ACTION IS DEAD and by asking for prayer, you are taking action. There are wonderful Prayer Ministries that gladly pray for the needs of others, JOAN HUNTER, MORRIS CERULLO MINISTRIES, PATRICIA KENNEDY MINISTRIES, SID ROTH, BENNY HINN MINISTRIES, PATRICIA KING MINISTRIES, DAVID HERZOG, CHARLIE SHAMP, TONY EVANS MINISTRIES and so many other Ministries would pray for your needs. In my walk with Christ, I have learned that FASTING and PRAYER, especially UNITED With others WORKS WONDERS, that MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE , BECOME POSSIBLE. May God intervene with signs and wonders in your Life 🙏

I am confused. If Solomon was so wise, why did he marry wives from the tribes the Lord has forbidden the Israelites to intermarry with and why did he let them influence him to worship their gods?
@Germando772 жыл бұрын
This is what happened // When we think about this story // Many people have in mind that iT happened in ONE day, therefore, you have to look at this as the time King Solomon lived ~ He lived for all 94 Years ~ Now, remember also that man has FREE will, God gave all to king Solomon ~ What happened was that HE TURNED HIS BACK to God and chose to put GOD aside completely and went his own way, remember that once you leave GOD the SPIRIT of GOD leaves you too, exactly same thing with SAMSON remember when his hair was cut off, and he said Please Lord give me this power at least ONCE more and iT happened reason he was able to pull together the pillars that were hold ing that building! Furthermore, King David himself said to GOD "Please don't let your Spirit leave me, after he had sinned against the Lord, when he took URIAH's wife" HE WAS REPENTANT! So what happened to King Solomon, he did not repent, and instead put MOAB, AMON AND all other fake gods before the God of his ancestors of iSrael that had given him WISDOM and POWER , that was the total collapse for King Solomon, and to sum up, once he reaced the point of no return, of course he lost everything! God tells us that if you want to be RIGHTEOUS, you do what King Solomon could NOT do, then you will know you are RIGHTEOUS! The final thing that I would like to mention was that he no longer had the REVERENCE for God at all! See? I am simply -a Messenger NOT -a Prophet! Shà-lom☼

In antiquity, kings typically married a daughter of another king to solidify political alliances with them. It is for this reason that Ahab married Jezebel, and why Ahaziah eventually married their daughter. Solomon seems to have been a believer in the "happy wife, happy life" philosophy on top of having a weakness for women.
@mikemccormick96672 жыл бұрын
Exactly dear. He had the wisdom to know everything except that we serve a jealous God. Maybe if David could have been around for a few more years he could have instilled this in him. But knowing God is sovereign it happened for a reason. 🙏🥰🙏

The world offers so much to cling to. So many idols to bow to. So many faiths to believe in. So many evil spirits to channel through. So many threats and fears to keep mankind deceived and in control. But there is one true Bible to put our hands on. One awesome God to bow down to. One Holy Spirit to prompt us. One faith to believe in. One fear and truth to reign over us. Jesus Christ, the resurrected King of our souls who shed His blood and died for sinners. May there be one more today that will repent, ask forgiveness and be baptized in the faith before the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life the world offers us, smoothers and covers our sins in the darkness of wickedness and die without a Savoir.

Moral of the story is dont let anyone tell u or influence u to do something that goes against your integrity for the sake of petty desires. In other words, dont stay in a relationship w someone because they sexy, or have money, or status, etc. dont stab a loyal friend for the hope that youll get the position, or steal his wife or wtver it is that they have more than yo (jealousy). Dont long for fame for the sake of attracting more h03s. Dont spend all your money on instant gratification aka pleasures where you forget about your responsibilities and put ur kids and wife under stress. In conclusion, dont do something thats out of your deepest, rooted, most authentic character

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. So that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. The corn. Here is a perfect understanding of the work that God, makes from the beginning to the end. That which is done in the beginning, expect it at the end. When the last within the beginning of the Alpha, becomes first expect the first within the end of the Omega, to become last. Do not muzzle the ox that trade out THE CORN. Matthew 20:16. So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

Who is that on the thumb nail?Song of Solomon 1:5-6 King James Version 5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon. 6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept. Kedar is a masculine name, artfully balancing untouchable heights with the grounding power of darkness. From the Hebrew qadar, "to become dark," Kedar emerges as meaning "dark one Since the 17th century, a number of suggestions have been made that relate the name Ham to a Hebrew word for "burnt", "black" or "hot", to the Egyptian word ḥm for "servant" or the word ḥm for "majesty" or the Egyptian word kmt for "Egypt". key sentence of truth.............6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me!The whole world has been decieved,how do we know?
